TAG Heuer, having reinterpreted the tourbillon (high frequency, magnetic regulation) pushes the boundaries of watchmaking, driving it with a belt, and placing it in an avant-garde timepiece: the Monaco V4.
We chose to create a movie divided in two separated sequences :
the first part takes place in the manufacture and shows the process of the tourbillon assembling. The second part is a more dynamic immersion inside the watch itself.
The movie was shot during two days in TAG Heuer manufacture in La Chaux-de-Fonds.
The watchmaker is guided in his work by virtual interfaces that show him the inspiration of the tourbillon, gives him the various steps in the construction and finally serves as a control support to check the timekeeping performance.
We have designed this virtual tool and developed it to interact with the actions of the watchmaker.
These High resolution images were created for press communication,
using the CAD files modeled for the movie.
