The Pendulum is a concept watch introduced at the Basel fair 2010. In this new concept a pair of magnets displayed around a stator replaces the spring, used in all mechanical watches to regulate time. The stator oscillates between the two opposing fields, with an outstanding regularity and speed.

The movie introduces the history of time measurement and especially the invention of spring wheel. The spring explodes and is replaced by the new system, the new concept watch is revealed.

This film was created as a part of a series displayed in boutiques with a new holographic system: the Dreamoc 3D.

The Dreamoc is a display device that simulates a holographic projection, using back lighted two-way mirrors. This technique gives the impression that the movie is floating above a real product inserted inside the device. Thus there is a direct link between the product and the 3D animation.

The music was especially composed for this movie.
