1min 30 sec. Concept, 3D modeling and rendering, postproduction and special effects of a movie for the Calibre 1887 Chronograph. |
| OVERVIEW | FILM | INFORMATIONS |
TAG Heuer created a new manufacture, to build in-house a new automatic movement: the Calibre 1887. This caliber based on existing plans uses the oscillated pinion invented by Edouard Heuer in 1887, and a column wheel.
The movie introduces the invention of Edouard Heuer with a historical timepiece that opens and releases the parts of this new movement, heritage of Heuer’s creation.
This film was created as a part of a series displayed in boutiques with a new holographic system: the Dreamoc 3D.
The Dreamoc is a display device that simulates a holographic projection, using back lighted two-way mirrors. This technique gives the impression that the movie is floating above a real product inserted inside the device. Thus there is a direct link between the product and the 3D animation.
The music was especially composed for this movie.
