OVERVIEW
INFORMATIONS
“Maurice Lacroix” is a Swiss manufacturer of watches.
Accompanying the brand repositioning and the new visual identity of the company, we created this website with several objectives:

- First objective was to regain presence on the web with a more lively and complete web site than the existing one: a website capable of competing with the other players in the industry.

- Second objective was to present a very dense and complex collection with the simplest ergonomic.

- Third objective was to give more emotion and impact to the website by the use of full resolution images and videos, and by increasing their presence.

- Fourth objective was to display, and give visitors a lot of contents in terms of news and information on the brand.

- Fifth objective was to create links towards the main community websites, such as Facbook and YouTube, to allow visitors to share the contents an the videos and by this way increase the number of links toward the site and add more visibility on the web.

The design of the website is based on the idea that the visitor can be guided in his visits, according to his preferences. Thus we created a navigation bar, located at the bottom of the screen, which adapts the links according to the visited pages. For instance if a visitor click on a very technical masculine timepiece, he will find in the navigation bar link towards the watch making know-how section, a higher value timepiece, the corresponding ambassador section and the retailer section. On the other hand if the visitor goes to a more feminine and casual timepiece, the navigation bar will also guide him to a retailer, or a highest value timepiece, but also the partnership section with latest information on events of the brand.

The general mood is based on the new visual identity of the brand, and uses off-white and warm grays. The website layout adapts to the resolution of the viewer screen. Most of the parts of the site are animated to give more dynamics but also to guide the visitor.

The whole website is linked to a Content Management System, so that all contents and collections can be updated easily by the brand. News is added regularly and collection is kept up to date.
