2 min 50 sec. Concept, 3D modeling and rendering, postproduction and special effects of a product launch movie for the Swiss Watch Manufacture. |
| OVERVIEW | FILM | INFORMATIONS |
Hautlence is a watch manufacture based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. We have been accompanying this brand since its creation, working on most of their communication supports such as 3D movies, catalogs, user guides, website, press communication etc.
This film is the third created for Hautlence, accompanying the launch of the third opus of their collection the HLQ ( Q stands for “Quantième”, the indication of the date on a watch). After having produced two square watches, Hautlence launches its first round case, but with a strong heritage of the previous watch, especially in the time reading concept.
To express this transmutation, and the very daring design of the watch we created this movie, where a square watch transforms. Each part of the timepiece splits in hundreds of fragments, articulated by cylinders and valves. Acting as a living machine the watch extends its arms and body, going from a square shape to a round one.
Each watch was split into more than 10 000 fragments.
Completely created in 3D, the film has a dynamic and strong cut, matching a music especially composed for this occasion.
